Information Architecture

It is important to break content up into logical and easy to follow sections, so your visitors know intuitively where to find the information they want. We pride ourselves on easy navigation, and making the user's experience a positive one is a key priority for us. Remember, first impressions last!

Usability

Not only do we aim to make our sites user friendly, we offer you the proof that they are. We can provide clients with the option of performing a range of usability tests so that you can be positive that the site you have is one that your clients want too!

Presentation

The team at base elements is proficient in a wide range of presentation based lanaguages, including cross browser compatible html and css, PHP, JSP and ASP, to name a few. Need something a bit more <pun>flashy?</pun>, then that's fine too! We are skilled in all things Flash, and have experience in new Macromedia technologies, including Macromedia Flex, the new Rich Internet Application (RIA) presentation server from Macromedia.

Processing

For those sites that need to do a bit more than get some information across, we provide a broad range of skills and experiences using various server-side languages. Need databases? No Problem, we speak fluent SQL across a variety of database management systems.

More complex business logic is not a problem either, JAVA and C++ are second nature to us, and we love to model a good problem description. Just tell us what you need, and we'll do the rest.
